What tv do you use for gaming?

Console:  Sony 65Z9F

It's no OLED, but great picture, low input lag, and 1700 peak nits and support for pretty much all the major HDR implementations out there.

PC: 43 inch LG 4K monitor.  Not a gaming monitor, tops out at 60Hz.  I've never experienced higher, so as they say, ignorance is bliss.

Panasonic ST60 plasma from 2013.  I really don't know when I'm going to upgrade. Probably not until at least 2 years after the PS5 comes out. I want a tv thats going to take full advantage of whatever features/capabilities are out at the time. I almost jumped on a new TV a few times over the years but then I probably would have ended up with a tv that wasn't HDR capable, or one that was only so-so. Glad I've been waiting now.

Samsung 65" KS8000 from a few years ago. I got a company discount and got it for a great price. Some of the lighting is getting uneven in the lower right of the screen though, so I might start looking at something new in the next year or two.

My game room I play on the Sony X900 75" but also have a Samsung NU8000 49" next to it for when having to play games that don't allow couch co op like Halo 5 or Minecraft Dungeons which has couch co op but cant do couch co op with other online players. My bedroom has an LG B7 55".

I won't plan to upgrade any of my TV's until hdmi 2.1 is standard and can do VRR and Freesync. I know LGs have VRR but no consoles support VRR.

I have a 55 TCL in my living room. My 50 inch Panny plasma died after years of faithful service. At my parent's house I'm gaming on their Panny plasma which is still going strong 12 years later.

An old 47" Philips TV has the PS4/Wii U (don't laugh) connected downstairs and an equally old Hannspree is upstairs with the PS3 and currently Gamecube for Netflix, Youtube and at the moment, Ocarina of Time.

We've talked about upgrading and may look into it next year during a sale to get something newer, more 4k-y

Honestly,  whatever was on sale, 4K and above 50" at the time. I somehow can't even remember without looking at it, damn.

You mean you don’t have the model number of your TV memorized? Weird.

I have a TCL ‘bout$250

I forget model numbers.

Some ASUS 28" 1440p monitor from around 2012 for my PC.

TCL 55" 4K for consoles.

Oh, and a coupel of Sony PVMs, on a 13", used for testing, the other a 20" at my husband's desk with various retro consoles connected. And he bought some really high end new  25" CRT a couple years ago for retro gaming in the game room. Built a custom case for it and all. I don't use it much, but damn, most of the retro stuff looks really sharp on it.

I currently have everything hooked up to a Samsung 65" Q8fn Qled that's been great. Huge improvement over the 65" Samsung NU8000 series, but to be honest was a great gaming TV too. I have my 2080Ti / I7 9700k PC hooked up and play either @1440p / 120Hz or 4k / 60Hz, this along with my PS4 Pro and Xbox One X! This is a gr8 Mig range Qled and I highly recommend it to anyone! That said, I do plan on buying a 85" samsung Q70 around black friday. It's now around 2700'ish and I'm hoping for it to be lower than 2500 at the end of the year. I would love a LG C9 oled but I really want my next TV to be 85" for my main home theater, and the C9 tops out at 77" and is more money. The Q70 hits the sweet spot when shopping for a monster and still being budget friendly. I think and it's starting to be fazed out as it's a 2019 model!
