General Gaming Who's your favorite fighting game character?

Like the subject says, who's your favorite fighting game character? Obviously, it may not indicate your favorite fighting game, just the character. My favorite character is Ayane from the Dead or Alive series. She's just so much fun to use.

I grew up trying to convince everyone that Kyo was way better than Ryu since I seemed like the only person that was all in on SNK fighters over Capcom ones, so I'll have to go with him...even if I haven't played a KoF game in forever.

This is a very broad question because there are a lot of characters I like but don't use (like Ibuki) but ones I like and use.

 

So I'll just go with LeiFang. I know she's kinda a weak sauce design (like poor man's Chun-Li) but I've probably used her the most.

 

That being said I haven't played DOA in a long while, looks like they changed her design

An solid argument can be made that Mortal Kombat has the best character designs, but it wasn't until I saw this 

 

 

 that I felt genuine hype about character designs in fighting games.  Like MK, Tekken has always delivered the cool factor, especially 4 and 5.
