Commissar SFLUFAN Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 A very nice lady that I occasionally worked with was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer last September that had spread to her brain. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday. 8 Quote
CayceG Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 While remembering that cancer does indeed often strike the good ones, sometimes it also takes revenge for society. Quote
Joe Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 Advanced is Stage IV it seems. The odds are against him beating this. Quote

MarSolo Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 My dad had stage 2 esophageal cancer back in 2016. He went from looking like Sam Elliott to looking like Gandalf the Gray when his mustache started thinning and he got self-conscious and grew out his beard. 1 Quote
Guest Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 Limbaugh is a huge figure in turning news into entertainment, something that’s been devastating for society. His TV and radio shows were a staple of my parent’s political intake in the 90s. Quote
SaysWho? Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 Interestingly, this is how he wanted to bill his macho look: Like the science of climate change, sometimes it's best to listen to the science. Quote
Bloodporne Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 It's one of those times where I think, yes, I've said I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone because god knows I've seen it first-hand and it's hellish, but this guy is such a monumental twat and it already happened and it's not like I WISHED IT...so.......................................................... Also, those tough guy cigar promo shoots, come on. 1 Quote
Anathema- Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 Fuck that asshole yesterday, fuck him today, and fuck him until the end of time. Cancer ain't got nothing to do with that. Of all people I'm glad he's one that has to face down his own mortality before the end. For all the bitter pills he shoved down people's throats that shortened their otherwise joyful time on earth to a nub of angry xenophobic vitriol that rubbed out real connections to real family I can think of few more fitting fates. 2 Quote

Limbaugh quit smoking a long time ago from what I recall. Maybe not soon enough. Quote

She had breast cancer like 12 years ago. She got non-Hodgkin's lymphoma 2 years ago. Was treated and it went away but at some point developed Hodgkin's lymphoma. Worried because the chemo was working but it has since stopped. Waiting to see when she has her next biopsy and she is probably gonna fet a stronger chemom 1 Quote

MarSolo Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 I’ll be honest, for the first time in my life, I feel bad for cancer. Quote

silentbob Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 My dad died of advanced lung cancer almost 4 years (well 4 years as of the 16th) He was a smoker but it was a very rare form which grew to the size of a cauliflower on outside of his back (which they surgically removed a few months before he died) The thing rooted into his lymph nodes throughout his chest and basically slowly suffocated him. So I know Rush is going to suffer through a lot of shit and pain . . . and for once I’m ok if one cancer takes out this human stain of a cancer on society. Quote

My great uncle just got his diagnosis. He quit 25 years or more ago, but the damage to his lungs was already done after 30 years of 4-5 packs a day. 1 Quote

Ngl, it would warm my heart, and be objectively funny, to have Joseph Goebbels love long enough to see his life's work, fighting "socialism" , be undone with the swearing in of an openly self-professed socialist president Quote

First a black guy then a Jewish statist and all he gets in return is trump and cancer. Quote
Commissar SFLUFAN Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 Limbaugh is so far beneath my utter contempt that I cannot work up any semblance of motivation to dance on his grave. He's just not worth my time. Quote
