Can't wait until polls are closed or severely restricted on election day to prevent the spread. Oh, but mostly in young minority-inhabited communities. You know, the ones where very few will die of the virus. The ones around old folks will be tripled.

All state governments should pass a law now authorizing vote by mail for November.

Well you see Democrats are located largely on dense urban areas, very likely to spread the virus

My sister-in-law just had her work trip to NYC from Toronto cancelled because of the worry over this virus. She was suppose to fly out tomorrow but just called her a few hours ago.

oh if Pence is sick. Thoughts and Prayers

My company has stopped all international travel, and you need a legitimate business reason and manager approval to fly domestically now.

UK supermarkets draw up plan to 'feed the nation' as coronavirus spreads

Quote

British supermarkets have drawn up “feed the nation” contingency plans that would help the country cope with any panic-buying brought on by a sudden escalation of the coronavirus outbreak.

Under the plans, supermarkets would work with suppliers to scale back the variety of foods and groceries available, and instead focus on maintaining supplies of staple products.

The number of dead from the virus is now six. If the mortality rate is really 2% that would indicate the total infections is around 300 but the CDC only has 91 confirmed cases. The government’s response is lacking as it seems the can’t keep up.

I wouldn’t read too much into the 2% mortality rate. It’s going to take a lot of time to figure the real figure out. It often seems larger at the beginning of an outbreak because sicker patients are more likely to be counted and less symptomatic ones are not.
