Update: Pennsylvania revokes GameStop's business license in the state for failure to comply with closure order

I have seen this in a few head-scratching places. In Fallon the local comic book shop is not only staying open and doing curb side deliveries, but allowing groups in to play Magic and other tournament games.

And in Reno (even under threat of losing their business licenses) the retro video game stores and comic shops are staying open.

Saw on Reddit one employee sent an email to higher-ups politely telling them to go screw themselves and that they're closing their doors tomorrow until other non-essential stores open again.

The public is finally seeing what anybody who has worked at a GameStop already knew, they don't give a single shit about their employees.

well entertainment is important (important not essential) especially in these trying times...

I would definitely argue that entertainment is essential. People in true isolation without any stimulus can rapidly start developing brain damage.

That, however, would be a very poor argument for keeping a Gamestop open in the age of digital entertainment, including Pornhub.

metal stimulus is indeed important, but Gamestop is not essential, especially since the mail is still being delivered and everything they sell is available that way. It's not as is if people don't still have access to books/tv/their older games/etc

Also games are available digitally as well... there is literally NO REASON for Gamestop to be open. Now we know that reports of their shittiness were not overstated.

That's what I just said!
