As someone else said, even when Republicans figure this out, it's not like they'll be agreeing on much legislatively. Seems like it should be easy for Democrats to frame next election as "Get shit done" party vs "Do nothing" party ... Can disagree on what to get done, but seems like most voters would be anti-status quo. I'm sure Dems will mess up the messaging though.

None of this is surprising to anyone who pays even the slightest bit of attention over the last decade, its not some secret the GOP is a dumpster fire and can't be trusted to run a lemonade stand at this point.  Sadly very few people pay any attention and just vote for the "other guy/party."
