Joe Biden beats Donald Trump, officially making Trump a one-term twice impeached, twice popular-vote losing president

I went to bed at ~7:30pm last night, got up at 4am to hit the gym at 5:30am. When I went to bed this was on page 509, now it’s page 540. I’ve read through every page and post. Watching the slow freakout of this not being a landslide has certainly been something.

People voted for Gary Johnson only so they could find out the true mystery of what exactly is Aleppo.

There’s no mechanism for this!

But no mechanism for this

NO MECHANISM

Why hasn’t someone explained to Trump that he doesn’t have a mechanism for this?

There’s absolutely no mechanism for this, or so I’ve been assured by the scholars of this forum.

The SCOTUS should be contacted ahead of time so they’re aware that there’s no mechanism for this

YOU KNOW DAMN WELL THAT THERE’S NO MECHANISM, BUDDY

No one claimed it was definite, the worry was always, and still is, the ATTEMPT of it and the repercussions of such an attempt. But, yo, no mechanism!

Here’s the problem: if the DNC split into the two parties it represents, wall-street/big-business liberals and democratic-socialists, the GOP would win every god damn election every time. Now, if the GOP somehow split into Reagan-Republican Party and the Trump-Dipshit Party as well, cool.

Dude, whatever. People like Jason et al were being unbelievably irrational from the very beginning saying that Trump would definitely steal this. My issue was never with your points.

I dunno man, I was constantly lumped into the “doom & gloom crazy people” BS simply for voicing concerns

EDIT: maybe I missed the post, but I actually don’t recall Jason saying it was definite, just constantly pushing the possibility.

Biden performed poorly with pretty much all hispanic groups compared to Clinton though.  Quite an embarrassment.

Agreed, that's not on Hispanics though. Keep someone in your blindspot all you want, but don't be surprised when you turn to find them and they're not there.

I can be mad both at Biden for ignoring Latinos and for Latinos for being an unreliable voting bloc. Watch me, I'm doing it!

That's fair. But a historically disenfranchised group without tangible experience in feeling political agency isn't going to magically start registering to vote for a geriatric white man either.

So we think those massive swings for Trump in Texas by Latinos were Cubans as well?

Nah I know mostly referring to Florida. I have too many Cuban friends with Cuban parent's who keep posting #cubansfortrump and saying that they only care for Cuba's freedom. They some how thinks that Trump cares about that.

Unless I'm reading these numbers wrong, this isn't a turnout issue. They actually have very good turnout (I think?) this election. They're definitely voting for a geriatric white man, just the wrong one.

The fear was always the (obvious) attempt. If Trump will or won’t succeed in said attempt is truly an unknown at this point.

I was gonna edit this in but this thread is moving too fast :p

I lean towards that he won’t succeed, but the sheer attempt and it even going to courts is going to be absolutely awful for this country as well as Trump’s rhetoric until Jan 20th
