Chairslinger
Having to work the day after the election in 2016 was soooooo fucking miserable. I was pissed off, sad, and working in Ohio meant I looked at everyone who came through like, "were you the one that caused this". One good thing about the pandemic is not having to worry about that this year.

Fizzzzle
I work on Tuesday, but I'm off by like 8, then I'm off Wed/Thursday I'm curious about the situation in Portland. If Biden wins, I think the streets will flood with people. If Trump wins, I think the streets will flood with people (assuming we know who won by Tuesday night). It's just if Trump wins, people might get a bit more smashy.
TheLeon
I'm off Tues/Weds. My election day plans: vote first thing in the morning, go back to sleep for a couple hours, then drive to a big state park and hike around all afternoon in a place where I don't get cell reception. PaladinSolo
Hopefully that FL poll is wrong and the electorate isn't R+5 but its actually an improvement as their last had Trump up 4 in the state, the rest are good to see.

PaladinSolo
I guess when you think all polls are just fake news you don't have to worry about your candidate possibly losing everywhere until it happens.
PaladinSolo
Seeing Sumter at only +3 for the GOP with almost 80% turnout already is interesting, Trump won the county by 40 points in 2016.

This is the stupidest take. Political affiliation of the people in charge of these cities has nothing to do with riots. On top of that, the vast majority of large cities are run by Democrats by nature, but the few big Republican-ran cities aren't immune to riots either. I'm not going through the whole list, but the two Republican-Mayor cities (San Diego and Jacksonville) in the US's top 10 largest have had riots. marioandsonic
I get that Trump may be ahead on election night, and then Biden pulls ahead after early voting and mail-in ballots are counted. But I'm really hope Biden is ahead by the end of election night, so any narrative that Trump tries hold no water.

It would be funny if Trump pulls a 180 on November 4th and demands that all ballots be counted. lol.
