It won't blow up now or soon due to the pandemic, I think.

 

My guess is that once this wave winds down, the Republicans will push the story heavily.

Not just the DNC.  The voters.  There were other candidates to vote for—and not just ‘Democratic socialist’ ones.  Biden should have never gotten the level of support he did.  Especially after the impeachment.  The voters made him viable.  And they are quite likely to get their comeuppance for doing so.

Had to look up Beerus, I had never heard that name before, my younger cat also has an obscure name because I named him after a Star Trek character Weyoun.

 

Is he an orange or gray tabby? I kind of ended up with three gray tabbies on accident amd now I am really partial to them.

 

My kitties have loved having me at home. Kirby and Shadow have learned to chill while I am gone for the most part, but poor Weyoun has been here almost a year and a half and he still waits in the window for me to come home. Like, of I came home an hour or two early he'd be there, so it seems like he juat waits there all day when I am gone.

I love him, but (appropriately enough, based on the character he's named after) he can be destructive at times.  He'll constantly climb onto furniture I don't want him on, try to climb up solid walls, chew up a part of the carpet, and constantly knock things off shelves.  Maybe I'm just noticing it more due to being home all the time now, but oh well.

Fox News is hitting this Tara Reade story hard now to deflect from Trump being a total moron.

 

It's an interesting game of chicken, because everyone knows that Trump has what, 26 credible sexual assault allegations and was caught on tape saying the pussy grabbing stuff. Not to mention everything else... the game is though, that republicans don't care, because they are morally bankrupt profiteers with no sense of right or wrong. But they know that a lot of democrats do care... so they can push this.

 

It's fascinating, because I can respect a Democrat who is troubled by this, (I sure am) but anyone who voted for Trump or supports Trump and then puts this allegation out there as some sort of big deal deserves to be beaten to death with a tire iron. FUCK THAT. Shut the fuck up about everything from now until the end of time. You've lost the ability to take some sort of moral stance on this. You simple can't.

I'm circling back around to the idea that anyone who voted for Trump or supports Trumps isn't even worth talking to. We should treat them like people walking around wearing KKK masks. The worst fucking people imaginable.

Eh, why not try to convert them?  Maybe not convert them to your particular political leanings, but at least convert them to stop supporting Trump.  

 

Yeah, Trump holds huge approval ratings with Republicans, but he probably has bled more supporters over the last 3 years than he has gained new supporters over that same time period.

I can kinda see how someone could rationalize voting for Trump in 2016... almost, from a distance if I squint and hit myself in the head with a hammer for a few times...

 

But I simple cannot wrap my head around how someone can still be okay with him. Anyone who hasn't changed their mind by this point is a lost cause. You would have to be so utterly stupid or gullible or ignorant or racist or so far up your own ass or so selfishly capitalistic that you literally care about nothing but accumulating wealth... we don't need or want any of those people. And we won't get them anyway, so fuck em all.

 

I think we should carve MAGA into all of their foreheads inglorious basterds style so they have to live with their shame forever.

Okay now that it seems more likely that Biden did assault this woman, what are the options?

  • Biden denies the credible corroborations, the Democrats (and their voters) stick their heads in the sand and pretend they didn't hear
  • Biden admits he's made some mistakes, but says he is better than Trump, asks for forgiveness
  • Push grows to remove Biden. Replace with who? DNC won't accept Sanders. They install someone else like Cuomo by changing the rules?
  • Run Raback Omaba, a weirdly familiar-looking man with a moustache.
  • Wild card: Jimmy Carher returns for second term
