Newsmax anchor Bob Sellers repeatedly tried to cut off MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell in an interview Tuesday after the Trump-supporting executive spread election fraud falsehoods on air. That's a particularly touchy topic for the conservative news channel, because it was named in a lawsuit claiming it spread misinformation about voting machines.

You can say the N-word all you want but 'shit' is getting you banned.

"Look, we just want to be able to say the N-word, okay?!"

But that is one of the four "swear words" that he says won't be allowed.

I think that short clip is a really interesting encapsulation of the current shards of the Republican party that they're trying to hold together.

It's actually a pretty fine tight wire Lindell is trying to walk. He is trying to sell the dirtbag Trumpers on the "censorship" part by framing it as a religious anti-blasphemous kind of thing.

Which is why half of the "swear words" he lists aren't even really swear words.

You know the comedy bit where someone lists 2 or 3 things and then tries to tack on something embarrassing at the end by muttering it low and fast?

Lindell is trying to sneak the n-word in with cunt, fuck, and Goddammit

Anything is permitted in the name of a dubious claim of religious liberty

This clip is actually fantastic and I almost want to see more but only on this topic. He’s really laying it out exactly what the people who complain about their free speech think free speech is. And exactly what I figured as a separate set of rules that are determined based on whatever they want.

When these guys talk about freedom of speech and cancel culture, they really just mean that they want to say the n-word.

It’s what it has always been. Freedom of speech means they want to say whatever they want without consequence. And cancel culture is just things they like being changed or facing consequences. They still don’t want people saying or doing anything they don’t agree with and want anybody that does say or do those non-agreeable things to be punished and banished.
