Sounds weird but not sure I’d have achieved what I have in my life if it wasn’t for, the 6152, aka fable board, and then the ceb. The board does a great job of hiding his content in a way that's hard to notice. I had to really search for what was causing the reactions this morning. What that doesn't do is keep other people from engaging with him. Beyond what I said above, you also have helped a lot of people here over the years, in ways you probably don't even know. For me, what has helped my own mental health are a few things: Getting off social media Reading SciFi from the 1930s to 1970s (like Le Guin, Asimov, etc) as it's very hopeful, even when it doesn't realize it Coming to the realization that living is suffering, and that the greatest goal of anyone's life is to ease suffering in others, by any way I can Playing games that are devoid to f conflict as much as possible. Sure, it isn't perfect, but it works for just about everything when you take Ublock O into account. There might even be a way to hide quotes considering that quoting a user puts in their User ID info, but I have found it easy to skip over anything so I have never tried. Of course you'll still be seeing the response, but without the quoted user. I think the only thing you can't truly block anymore are reactions and that is because Invision has no idea how to make a good decision. If we weren't we would have gone off to somewhere else. As a former mod for IGN & Assemblergames, I understand the crap you have to put up with on a daily basis (I'd personally love to not have experienced cleaning up gay porn off a forums for 4 hours because a man child had to throw a fit because we told him to cut it out). I've come to learn that it's best to waste as little time on people who clearly have nothing better going on in their lives and put effort towards the ones who are trying to get help or have a real conversation. Even the server implosion, while we definitely had some drudgery and misery trying to salvage what we could, turned out to be largely a non-event in the scheme of things once we switched to the Invision hosting. You definitely are appreciated here both for your efforts running this place and also besides those efforts.
