I think it's more likely that Tucker would run AGAINST Trump - and the GOP base would accept Carlson over any of the other contenders not named Trump. You know how Trump would repeatedly punch himself in the balls with stupid statements and such, but his followers still adored him? Imagine a Trump-like candidate who didn't repeatedly punch himself in the balls...He'd win the GOP nomination and have a better chance against Biden. From 2000 - 2008 he worked at CNN, PBS, and MSNBC so it's not like he's above sleeping with the enemy. He doesn't fucking care.
