I truly don’t know how anyone can consider a convention fight to replace Biden that a) doesn’t simply end up with Harris (a truly awful choice) and b) doesn’t completely undermine the “save democracy (by doing away with the guy the vast majority of democrats voted for)” message and finally c) doesn’t completely destroy the party or the campaign by committing the convention nominee to a fight over internally divisive issues such as M4A or Israel. the time for Joe to step out of the way was after the 2022 midterms.
