So basically, long story short, right wing groups are buying tickets to this and then not seeing it?

I legit saw someone on my Facebook post a link for “free tickets” yesterday and the free tickets are from “Angel Studios” which is the publisher.

The Turtle appears to have suffered a "mini stroke" in the middle of a press conference.

A few minutes later, the Senate minority leader walked back to the news conference by himself.

Quote

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell suddenly stopped speaking during a weekly Republican leadership news conference Wednesday afternoon, appearing to freeze, and then went silent and was walked away.

McConnell, R-Ky., had been making his opening remarks about an annual defense policy bill when he stopped talking. His Republican colleagues asked if he was OK, and Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming, a top McConnell deputy who previously worked as a physician before serving in Congress, escorted McConnell away from the cameras and reporters.

Sen. Joni Ernst of Iowa made a sign of the cross as if she was praying for McConnell.

A few minutes later, McConnell walked back to the news conference by himself. When asked about his health, he said he was fine. Asked whether he is fully able to do his job, McConnell said, "Yeah."

I'd feel bad for McConnell if he weren't an evil shit.

He is one of the prime people responsible for the current mess our nation is in. Much like Limbaugh I hope he suffers before the end.

I'm tired of people saying "We need to vote out every Republican".

Because fascists are well-known for respecting election results, right?

Right, and it's also not really going to be possible to vote them out when half of the country buys into their ideology at least enough to think it's better than the alternative. It seems to me it's at least partially a cultural/educational problem.

I’m tired of people saying we don’t need to vote out republicans just because of the obstacles. You literally need to vote them out as that’s how the entire system works. You do other stuff to make it so voting then out can happen. It’s an entire thing. Either shit or get off the pot and call for war.

All the money this movie is making should be given to Indiana Jones out of principle. Right wingers went out of their way to trash the new Indy flick for being “woke” and then propped this one up.

Indiana Jones is a confirmed groomer.

The Amarillo Republican, a doctor, was trying to help somebody experiencing a medical emergency in a chaotic situation, his office said. The sheriff is reviewing the incident.

DOJ should investigate him AND Cruz.

Dude, there were pictures of a child floating face down in the Rio Grande, nobody cares, it's not changing. The left is not going to put political capital into something that the Right hammers them with effectively, facts don't matter to them, only feelings and if the border is "secure" a few dead brown people are the price they're willing to pay for it.

More than 10 months after Hurricane Ian tore through Florida, millions of dollars raised through first lady Casey DeSantis’ Hurricane Ian relief campaign remain to be spent. Democrats should demand an audit.

The headline is a bit misleading. $54 million of the $63 million has been spent on charity and response organizations. $9 million has yet to be spent.

Still worth investigating.

See this is why when people talk about hypocrisy on both sides, for me, it just hits a lot different even if both things might be hypocritical.

A left leaning person might say that workers should have fair wages but then consume mass produced products by companies that don’t pay fare wages like literally everyone does.

A right leaning person might say they are against child sex trafficking but then kidnap children for fun.

Just different vibes though the word can be used for both idk maybe it’s the same thing
