Definitely excited for today.  Sony always puts on a good show, and I'm hoping for at least 1 big surprise, whether that's Demon Souls launch game, or something else people aren't expecting.

 

I haven't played a Final Fantasy since FF7, and part of FF8, so a FF16 or whatever it's on now wouldn't do much for me personally.

 

I'm actually curious as to the UI, and if they are making any updates or changes to PS Now.

That would actually be a pretty good for a console launch these days!

I assume that is just 1st party because Godfall should be a launch title as well.

Price leak rumors from resetera from a French store

 

"- 499€ for the PS5
- 399€ for the PS5 Digital Edition
- Opening pre-orders on Thursday, September 17 from 9 am (French time)
- 4 games available for pre-order : Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Destruction All-Stars, Demon's Souls Remake and Sackboy Adventures.

- You can pre-order only one console
- Micromania is expecting to run out of preorders in about 4 days and ultra limited quantities in France
- The consoles will be reserved in priority for "Premium" customers (it's a service)
- A second wave of stock will arrive in December and January
- Only one console per customer, number of accessories limited as well"

 

Note European prices have VAT/Tax in the price so doing a straight conversion is a waste in time. If true there is a good chance US will be $399 & $499. :daydream:

If true, that could easily be Sony's best 1st party launch line-up in history.  The bar's real low, granted, but that's a solid offering.

Better than PS4's launch of Knack and something else
