So the NYT's reporting on the "losers" story is...something. The lede is that Trump is moving quickly to deny it. They don't directly address the facts until paragraph 9, where they confirm that they have corroborating sources.

So instead of the story being about how he actually said it, they frame it as about him denying it. Classic fucking NTY bootlickers.

Actually, that's the frustrating thing--I just read the NYT article, and I can't find any instance where it claims to have corroboration.  It cites a few people that more or less say 'I wouldn't be surprised if he said that', and mention his disdain for McCain, but it doesn't present any real corroborating evidence.

And, unfortunately, as long as the sources are anonymous and uncorroborated, it's going to be quite easy for people to wave off the accusations--especially when it comes this close to the election.

Maybe Kelly will step in and go on record.  I'm kind of surprised he wouldn't, honestly, if Trump really said what he said about his son.  It's not like he hasn't already earned the hatred of the Trumpists.

It’s been confirmed but the AP as well.

John Kelly really needs to speak out. It’s quite obvious that he was one of the sources in the article, now he just needs to publicly confirm it.

Read all about it in his book. Due out on Nov. 4, maybe.

Sure enough the story is now nowhere to be found on Fox News’ front page (at least on mobile).

Oh make no mistake the website is full on right-wing propaganda shithole, and it won't even get a breathe during the propaganda prime time, it'll only grace the network during the middle of the day during their actual newscasts.

My first thought was "Remember when, "Aaaa-AHHHhhhhh" was a political scandal?". So quaint.

And it's basically the prototypical Fox News out of context hitjob--it only sounded bad because he was trying to scream over an absurdly loud crowd while wearing a crowd-noise-isolating microphone.

On TV he sounded like he was screaming way too loud but in person you could probably barely hear him.
