What is an obvious game idea you have that should be made?

For this, think of games which should obviously be made because of how much potential they have. Sequels (like Half-Life 3) don’t count, nor do remakes, however new derivatives within a main line series (like a Pokémon MMO) do.

I’ll go first: a Twisted Metal battle royale as a launch PS5 title.

See folks, this is the shit that I’m talking about! Even just a course creator would be sick as shit.

ModNation Racers was actually quite good. A PS5 version would be excellent.

A good porn game. Or rather a good game but with porn in it.

There is one indie project that looks promising, but i doubt it will ever actually release in a finished state.

I am pretty sure I know exactly what you are talking about and that is exactly what I am referring to when I say "No, that game you are thinking of doesn't count."

Animal Crossing style game built into the Sea of Thieves engine.

Everyone spawns on their own private island which randomly populates a plot of the World Map each time you load in.

Same basic concept as AC, slowly build up and shape your island, upgrade houses and building, ect.  Tons and tons of customization.

Also your ship is fully customizable, and can sail to others islands on your server that day.  Seamless loading, unlike AC:NH.

Can have co-op type adventures within the game to add some elements of combat and exploration with others.

Maybe it doesn't count based on the premise but what about a really good game based on/in The Matrix?  I enjoyed Enter the Matrix and Path of Neo, but they were objectively bad games, and I'm surprised at the lack of Matrix-related games given the insane storytelling/video game potential of that universe.

Every system should have a time keeper on how long you've played a game.  Steam has it down. 3DS had this nailed and Nintendo took a step back with the Switch. Stupid Sony doesn't have it at all.

The good news for switch is there is at least an app now that will have proper play time tracking. It just launched in Japan so hopefully it’ll come here soon!

If Nintendo has been doing it since the Wii (and does it at all), it absolutely is that simple.

No kidding.

Maybe it's not that simple. Also, redundant for some games that have internal tracking.

And a ton of games don't have internal tracking.

It's really inexcusable these days. This stuff was being done back in the NES days.
