I know that liberals mock conservatives for being uptight regarding porn, but we shouldn't discount the possibility that its sheer availability might have harmful effects on those who might be suffering from psychological challenges that might compromise their ability to enter into healthy interpersonal relationships, sexual or otherwise. Note: I feel the same way about the potential impact of violent video games on young children -- the results of those studies have largely been "inconclusive", but that's not the same as "non-existent". Of course it does. Extreme sex, kids think the things they see on screen constitute normal sex, normal treatment of women, etc. Not saying it affects all, but it definitely affects many.
