Nah, I have a crass, and sometimes obnoxious, sense of humor and it can be unintelligible on here because no mannerisms etc. are involved. It's backfired on me a few times so I totally get it.

The combative NY dickhead in me forgets not everybody jokes like that.

Yeah but the combative NY/NJ Dickhead in ME shouldn't be so sensitive :p

LA has made me soft

You're from Jersey? Whereabouts? I've got a lot of friends over there, especially Secaucus and Hoboken.

I also lived in CA for a year actually interestingly enough. Wasn't for me and I hightailed it back East and now I'm back to crying about the evil winter.

Didn't someone beat Dark Souls with a racing wheel and another with chat directions or some absurd shit? I wouldn't be surprised if playing blindfolded could be done after that.

I played Resident Evil with a racing wheel one time. The gear shift made the character go forwards and backwards. :p

I haven't paid any attention to this game until now. I've never played RE2. I've tried the original RE in a couple of its remake forms, but that style just doesn't work for me, and from what I understand 2 played pretty similarly. But now, seeing how "modern" this game looks and plays, I'm pretty excited.

I actually don't. What is there to spoil? It's like a book reader of GoT's saying not to spoil Season 1 of GoT.

That’s an obtuse way to think about it.

Of course he knows the general plot and structure of the original game. He doesn’t want to see how they’re going to present it all this time.

- DF considers this build might be the same as the EGX build (including timer)
- All (console) versions include filmic motion blur, SSR, heaps of volumetric lighting etc.
- XB Base and PS4 Base: Final output 1080p. XB One version is reconstructing from lower resolution, not native.
- Both Pro and XBX running at 1620p with elements of reconstruction on both.
- PS4 Pro has 'chunkier' SSR and DoF effects
- PC version has a 'frankly amazing' graphics option.
- Alex mentions to ignore the PC VRAM usage statistic as it is mostly incorrect
- PC has higher resolution effects compared to X/Pro on higher settings
- SSR has smaller blockier chunks on PC
- Distant enemies have half-rate animations (even on PC)
- Do not run the game on DX 12, approx 23% drop in performance.
- XBX and Pro performs 'incredibly' and mostly hit their 60 FPS target
- "Awesome performance in general"
- Base consoles target 60 but do not come close, PS4 is mostly in 40's and XBO mostly in 30's
- On PC RX580 and 1060 fall short of 4K on high presets
- Coming closer to console resolution, RX 580 fares better and both perform better/closer to 60
- 2080TI at max 4K could not maintain 60 in one hall with volumetric lighting, otherwise maintained 60.

1620p reconstruction, no wonder it was so damn blurry on X. I’ll be playing on pc, but hope the 4k/30 option is native for those on X/pro. I almost feel like just a regular native 1080p image would be sharper than what they are using here.

Interestingly, to their last point, I didn’t have a drop from 60fps in my playthrrough on pc, thought I suppose I could have missed that hallway, or it’s just because of my oc.

I actually perversely like tank controls. I really like the original Tomb Raider controls :ana:

Those are grid controls and kinda not great, especially since you have to make precision jumps but have to jump specifically from one square. :p

That being said I really enjoyed Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness.

(Let's get all our awful confessions out now!)

Those satisfy my inherent German longing for precision and order, my friend.

I can't even tell if that's supposed to be a parody or if this dude is serious. It's much funnier though if he's serious.

He has other videos of him being mad. I assume he is serious. He has other videos of being mad.
