I should make it clear that I believe that the GOP is 90% responsible for this erosion. I should left out the sides to talk about the broader point.

I agree with that percentage.

And it's not a statement on how good the Democratic Party is. They've got plenty of problems.

It's a statement on how the GOP is a bonafide corrupt, trainwreck, plowing through a tirefire, into a manure factory.

Michael Cohen has launched a $500,000 gofundme page to raise funds for his legal team so that he can tell the truth about Trump. lol. I am 100% behind him going after Trump, but all I'm donating are:

His Holocaust survivor father "Jewish guilt-ed" him into it?

"I didn't survive Treblinka only for you to disgrace yourself with that goy putz!"

Yeeeeeaaaahhhh - I'm gonna take that with a grain of salt.

He could have had a change of heart after Charlottesville.

You know, it's always hard to keep track of all the different threads of these scandals. But it's worth mentioning(and I haven't seen it mentioned much in the news about Cohen's guilty pleas) is that the guy who just stood up in court and implicated the President in a crime is also the person that the Steele Dossier places in Prague paying off Russian hackers.

Basically, if Cohen was in Prague(and his denials have always had the stink of unbelievability) we now have a direct line on how Mueller really could get the smoking gun on Russian collusion that leads directly to Trump. This is why  I never agreed with those who scoffed with the "It's just a pornstar payoff, this guy survived Access Hollywood!" attitude. The actions described in the Steele Dossier and the crimes Cohen just admitted to and implicated Trump in are essentially exactly the same if you are "Trump's fixer".

I believe his lawyer said that the Prague stuff was all false.

Next to SCOTUS ordering Trump to sit for an interview and Trump just refusing and saying, "How ya gonna make me?" probably the biggest threat of a Constitutional crisis will be when Mueller(or one of the states) indicts one of his demon spawn.

The latter might be even more dangerous because I could see Trump just firing everybody at Justice in a blind rage until he gets someone who will literally do whatever he wants.

This is my thinking, as well.

The bigger picture of the Cohen pleas and Pecker/Weisselberg deals are that they're stepping stones to the people who run the Trump foundation.

And those people tend to have the same last name as our president.

furiously searches for people named Dennison with connections to the Trump Org
