Sources close to the President are saying that he now regrets hasty decision to use the last wish on his monkey paw last week; "I wish something would distract people from these Omarosa tapes."

Like they were afraid of the radical Tea Party element rising, and before that afraid of the radical christian right evangelicals.

...I sense a pattern of emboldening irrational fringe elements by pandering for the sake of winning elections, despite the damage they do to the Union.

When conservatives take the only road left for them, which is that Cohen maliciously paid off these women at his own behest just for fun and Trump had nothing to do with it....let's remember the "bring me a Coke" tape.

and prior to that, Nixon's  "Southern Strategy" to scoop up racist southern Democrats who were pissed off by the Democratic party after the Civil Rights movement.

Congressional Republicans are quiet right now, but keep an eye out for the defense that is coming.

I beleive it will be a gaslighting masterstroke to rival anything Trump has done.

They will argue that even if Trump did break the law, the president can't be indicted for it, so it must not be bad enough to impeach him for....

In other words, a complete runaround the entire point of giving Congress the impeachment power.

"The power to impeach wasn't put in place for Presidents that break the law!"

Virginia Giuffre’s civil suit, scheduled to go to trial here later this month, threatens to expose new details of a long-running saga tying together President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta, and other prominent figures, including Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz.

Cohen's Lawyer Lanny Davis just said on CNN that Cohen has other information that would be "of use to Mueller."

Except the Special Counsel may already have evaluated Mr. Cohen as an uncredible witness and therefore have zero interest in him which is why Cohen was never offered a "cooperative" plea deal by the SDNY.

Surely then he would be all for a massive increase of investigations into the financial lives of all congress critters, lobbyists, other national political leaders, and Wall Street. I'd be down for that.

And the machine has found its justification: "Obama did it too"

What the right wing media is neglecting is intent.  As far as the FEC and other law enforcement agencies could find, there was no intent to violate campaign finance laws by Obama or his team.  That's why it was a fine and a fine only.  Once you have intent to violate the law, well, then it becomes a criminal matter.  And no one with any integrity can claim that Trump and Cohen didn't have ill intent in mind when it comes to paying off porn stars and playmates.

Michael Cohen has launched a $500,000 gofundme page to raise funds for his legal team so that he can tell the truth about Trump. lol. I am 100% behind him going after Trump, but all I'm donating are:
