I'm not sold on this yet. It's a maybe when it's cheap.

 

I haven't bought a PS4 game since Days Gone and I think the only thing left I'm definitely getting is The Last of Us Part 2.

I'm still waiting for days gone to get very cheap. I will still be picking up and playing PS4 games next year.

If this game is great and has no performance issues then I’ll play it on the Pro. If it runs like Days Gone, I’ll wait.

I'll wait because other than nice graphics doesn't look like anything special and the only sucker punch games I've liked are Sly Cooper.

Sony has like the most overhyped meh games that get released it seems.

Pretty much where I’m at. I think I’ll clear the backlog and get more minor releases next year and all things switch, but for the major releases I’m just gonna wait for the next gen versions.

This game looks more Assassins Creed than the last few actual AC games.  I'm excited if thats the case.

Man, I'm pretty excited for this! Love me a good Samurai game. I keep hearing comparisons to Sekiro? While Sekiro was good, the difficulty got to the point where I stopped enjoying it.

From everything I've seen so far, it's not a Souls-like game.

It looks ridiculously good and I love the aesthetics but I have yet to get a feel for how this'll actually play. I don't think I've ever played one of this studio's games but the fact it's open world, not Japanese (yeah, sorry) and its entire presentation so far seems mostly focused on how great it looks makes me suspicious by default.

The only aspect of this game that it shares with Sekiro is the Japanese iconography.

 

The actual combat appears to be far closer to Assassin's Creed/Batman Arkham than a From Software title.
