That's a different story. I've accidentally done that with my family and my non-German-speaking wife. Shutting someone out of a conversation is rage-inducing, it happens to me now and then with other friends and I get pissed so I get it. However if the conversation has zero to do with you, it's none of your business. Then again, who knows what brought that on throughout their day. It doesn't justify it of course and you should get over yourself if that really pisses you off that much, but it's a valid thought. People in my old neighborhood hated Russians/East Europeans for taking over so once in a while you'd get someone having a shit-fit over it like the subway bag throwing incident.
