Here's the thing. Bob Woodward should be more trustworthy than these two. But in their own ways I think Omarosa and Wolff were both pretty credible. Omarosa had tapes, and many of Wolff's juicy tales were just giving dirty details on things that had been previously reported. I think that Woodward's book actually lends creedence to these other two. They aren't just hacks writing a hatchet job. The reason a Bob Woodward book reads like a trashy tabloid article at times is simply because that's how the White House is being run. Much like how all of us around here have struggled with what hyperbole and satire even mean anymore, one suspects that Wolff and Omarosa didn't have to make stuff up because they're not creative enough to top reality at this point.
