That doesn't track with what the reporting has been on this the last two years: https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/16/media/reliable-sources-12-16-18/index.html No one is saying there weren't bigger factors that need to be addressed that caused the Democrats to lose 2016. But to suggest social media propaganda didn't have some effect on the 2016 election due to modern technology then I think you're intentionally ignoring how things have been reported these past two years on this issue.
