I am the author of this game. Thank you very much for posting about it on the forum! I have played both Eye of the beholder, Dungeon Master and Chaos Strikes Back in the 80's. My dream have allways been to create one of these games on my own. Thanks to Unity3D I have fulfilled mn dream. The game is a bit simpler than DM but great fun to play. Unfortunately it's not party based, just one character but it has a lot of puzzles and challenges just like Dungeon Master. The game consists of 11 levels with approximately 6-7 hours of playtime. Thanx again!4 points

The release of the Aftermath trailer at NACON Connect 2024 generated lots of comments and expectations, and we would like to thank you for all the excitement you've brought to the game. Finally starting Eiyuden Chronicles. Backed it on Kickstarter for the Switch, but I'm opting to play on PC via Game Pass. This game seriously feels like an old PS1 game with only a few QoL tweaks. I'm really enjoying my time. It really does feel like a new Suikoden and that's all I wanted.1 point

Oh yeah, we did finish this the other night. 10/10, just about as perfect as you can get. It really did the book justice. Even better with how it portrayed Japanese culture.1 point

Well, it's been a whole year since Redfall was unleashed upon the public, so let's check-in on how it's doing, shall we? Oh dear...well, surely they've released at least one of the two promised DLC characters that were sold as part of the deluxe Bite Back Edition and are still being sold as an upgrade to the base game. What's that? They haven't released even one of those characters? Oh my goodness! Alright, well what about that offline mode? They must've gotten that out the door, right? Oh...oh no1 point

I tried to use MS paint to bucket fill the line, but as it was mixed shades it didn't work out so well. The great news is that anyone who paid $100 or more for this chart will get the fully redfilled version in a future update!1 point

I think there’s a big difference between gambling in a casino while on vacation and betting your paycheck on a minor league baseball game while taking a shit. I’m gonna steal this from a writer I saw: “Gambling should be contained to adults-only places in the desert that make you feel a little bad about yourself.” It shouldn’t be so widely available.1 point

It's not that the economically/socially disadvantaged are "dumber" about gambling in the least. It's that the predatory aspects of the gambling industry are much more effectively targeted at the those groups as it preys upon their desperation and need for escapism.1 point

A couple of years ago, a Rockstar Games developer spoke off the record to one of the gaming websites about how the development of GTA VI was going and they said that one of the toughest parts was coming up ridiculous parody/satire in an age where America routinely satirizes/parodies itself in ways that they could never possibly top.1 point

When the sports betting apps came to Ohio, I signed up for a couple, put my $10 in. Bet on random crap, not even fully understanding my bets sometimes. Between the money I put in and the bonus bets they gave me, I was quickly up a good $250. I started to feel that it would really easily get its hooks into me (I’m already up by so much, this is so easy! I’ll never lose! And if I do lose, I just need one big bet to win it all back!) and it freaked me out. I cashed out and now whenever I want that rush, I just watch Uncut Gems.1 point

The single largest demographic seeking help for compulsive gambling, by a HUGE margin, over the past 18 months, has been young men between the ages of 21 and 30. And while the stats are somewhat questionable, our best current estimates are that 1 in 900 compulsive gamblers seeks help from GA, and while there are certainly other programs available for treatment, few have the (admittedly limited) success rate of a 12-step program. One of, if not the greatest dangers, of the mass proliferation of legalized gambling, is the lingering perception that problem gambling is limited to 50+ year old guys at the track or OTB. It's hard to forecast how devastating this growth and expansion of gambling will ultimately prove to be, but I'm pretty confident that the answer is that it will be far, far worse than we are imagining now. I'm on the board of trustees for NYIG (basically the governing body for Gamblers Anonymous in NY), and we're now dealing with questions like - if a 16 year old calls the GA hotline or shows up at a meeting alone after getting information from the website, do we have an ethical obligation to disclose this to their family? There isn't any legal obligation, but ethically - it's a challenging question, and a terrible one to have to deliberate on. And it's a question that is coming up with increased frequency, because it's started happening.1 point

Time Spent: ~45 min Rating: **** Yup, this is everything I hoped it would be. It's frenetic, doesn't feel unfair, and lets you retry rooms until you've completed them. Looks super stylish with lots of bloom, warping and pixel shading effects. I wasn't expecting story bits in between missions, but they're welcome diversions from the action. Play it, it's awesome, one of the easiest recommendations so far.1 point

I don't believe this for a second. Setting aside the fact that, with the exception of the past eight years, unions have been overwhelmingly left-leaning in support, do you know when union support began to erode among the mainstream in a meaningful way? Do you know who the president was, and the nickname he earned among union organizations? Ronald "Union Buster" Reagan. The idea that conservatives aren't anti-union, that they haven't historically (and still do) land on the side of management, is patently absurd. Are you being willfully ignorant, or is this just a bit of partisan hackery coming through?1 point

I took the day off and am currently playing Starfield once more. Somehow My level 100 character save got wiped, so I'm now level 39. I suppose this give me a reason to play again. Its not a bad game, its just not a great game. So why am I playing it? Because I've always liked BGS gameplay, jank and all, and I just came off a Fallout 4 run. Skyrim gets played through every other year. I'd play earlier entries in the FO/ES series, but it does seem likely we'll be seeing some remakes in the next 1-2 years, so I'll hold off for those.1 point
