Remarkableriots
https://www.ibtimes.com/egypt-imposes-night-time-curfew-bid-contain-virus-2945528 Quote Egypt is to impose a night-time curfew for two weeks from Wednesday to contain the spread of the coronavirus, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli announced. "Movement will be banned on all public roads from 7 pm to 6 am... for two weeks," Madbouli told a Tuesday news conference. "All mass transport, public and private, will be halted over the same period." Penalties for violators include a fine of up to 4,000 Egyptian pounds (just over $250) and even prison, he said. The prime minister said central and provincial government services, including the issuing of licences, would be suspended for two weeks. He said that malls and shops selling more than basic goods would be allowed to open until 5 pm on work days but would be required to close over the Friday-Saturday weekend. Cafes and nightclubs would be closed, while restaurants and other food outlets would be allowed to offer delivery services only. Bakeries, grocery stores, pharmacies and supermarkets outside malls would be exempted. The health ministry has so far registered 19 deaths from the coronavirus in Egypt out of 366 confirmed cases. The government has already closed schools and universities and halted air traffic in a bid to slow the spread of the coronavirus among the country's 100 million people. Remarkableriots
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-germany-masks-idUSKBN21B1T0 Quote German customs officials are trying to track down about 6 million face masks, ordered to protect health workers from the coronavirus, that they say went missing at an airport in Kenya. “The authorities are trying to find out what happened,” a German defence ministry spokeswoman said, confirming a report first published by Spiegel Online. A Kenyan Airports Authority (KAA) spokeswoman said investigations had found nothing so far. @Nokra You got some explaining to do.....

Seibert also stated that the chancellor will continuously be tested for coronavirus because a test at this early stage would not be reliable. Merkel will continue her full workload from her quarantine, Seibert added.

The 31-year-old South African swimmer won gold in the 100-meter breaststroke at the 2012 London Olympics and silver in Rio four years later. He retired in 2018. In a series of tweets Sunday, van der Burgh detailed that he had been "struggling" with COVID-19, the disease associated with the coronavirus, for 14 days. He disclosed his diagnosis amid growing calls for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games to be postponed. Full coverage of the coronavirus outbreak "By far the worst virus I have ever endured despite being a healthy individual with strong lungs (no smoking/sport), living a healthy lifestyle and being young," he tweeted, adding that he was in the least at-risk demographic. He said that although the most severe symptoms, including extreme fever, had passed, he was still experiencing "serious fatigue and a residual cough." Not because it won't be bad, but if they're right and with all this information the health experts are way off, that doesn't bode well for an infinite number of other things we "know" about health, medicine and diseases. Based on what we're seeing in Italy and Spain, I don't see how anyone could think the doctors and scientists are wrong. These guys know that. What they are doing is trying to prepare and sell the public on some real heinous shit because at the end of the day, money matters more to them than human life. That's just the ugly truth. Remarkableriots
https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/coronavirus/us-may-become-global-epicentre-of-coronavirus-outbreak-says-who/ar-BB11CQLu Quote The US has the potential to become the new global epicentre of the coronavirus pandemic, according to the World Health Organization. More than 46,000 cases and 530 deaths have so far been reported in America, with more than 20,000 in New York state alone. A spokeswoman for the World Health Organization (WHO) said the country could soon see a surge akin to those experienced across Europe. Earlier, US President Donald Trump admitted his government was experiencing difficulties in securing lifesaving medical equipment. He tweeted: "The World market for face masks and ventilators is Crazy. We are helping the states to get equipment, but it is not easy." In New York - one of the world's biggest virus hotspots - authorities rushed to set up thousands of hospital beds they will need to protect the city's 8.4 million people. More than 12,000 people have tested positive in the city and 125 have died, with a state-wide lockdown taking effect since Monday. The city's hospitals are around 10 days from shortages in basic supplies, while governor Andrew Cuomo announced plans to convert a New York City convention centre into a hospital. CitizenVectron
According to polls in Canada, the vast majority of the population (on all sides of the political spectrum) view this as a national crisis and support governments doing even more to protect us. A majority also considers it the greatest national threat Canada has faced in the last 50 years. So my worry is that Trump orders everything back to normal, Canada refuses to re-open the borders...and then what?
