Guest Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 I’m digging that art style. One of the disappointing things about the move to digital animation has been how much the Pixar aesthetic ended up dominating the market for the last 20 years. Quote
Spawn_of_Apathy Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Sounds more like the pre-teen-age mutant ninja turtles. lol I’ll probably watch it. 1 Quote
Ghost_MH Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 I love the style they went with. I'm going to follow @sblfilms here. I'm so happy we're starting to see more CG animation that just looks different. Quote

silentbob Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Like @sblfilmsand @Ghost_MHsaid. I too am digging the Spider-Verse comic book style it has going, and I enjoyed the teaser. Maybe won’t see it in theatres but will for sure at home. Quote
Best Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 That was actually very cool looking. Nothing will beat the original live action film but this has a lot of talent behind this. I'll catch it when it streams because I love TMNT. Quote
DarkStar189 Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 If there has to be another Turtles movie… I’ll say I think they nailed it with a fun art style. Definitely going to see this. Quote

Mr.Vic20 Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 The art is fanatastic and it really dials in that they are TEENAGE mutant ninja turtles, which they seem to grasp in a charming way. 1 Quote

Commissar SFLUFAN Posted May 31, 2023 Author Posted May 31, 2023 Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross to Score ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Movie WWW.ROLLINGSTONE.COM Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have been tapped to score the CG-animated 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem' movie. Quote Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have been tapped to score the CG-animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie, director Jeff Rowe revealed on Sunday. The film arrives on Aug. 2 via Paramount Pictures. Rowe confirmed the score news after Tony Hawk had recently leaked during a podcast that Ross and Reznor were working on it when the skateboarding legend had visited them. “Well now that my teenage hero @tonyhawk has leaked that my music heroes are doing this I can add that the score is absolutely AMAZING,” Rowe tweeted on Sunday. “Exhilarating, terrifying, heartbreaking, full of sounds I didn’t know existed. I don’t have the vocabulary to describe it. I love it so much.” Quote
silentbob Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 Still not showing much story wise, I’m loving the animation style and will more then likely go to the theatre to watch it. I hope we see more studios take that comic book style in more projects. It started with Spider-Man and sort of saw it in Dreamworks The Bad Guys. I also believe the new Puss in Boots movie used a bunch of different styles too. Quote
Reputator Posted May 31, 2023 Posted May 31, 2023 It looks better the more I see of it. It looks like they MIGHT be trying to put in some heart and depth, leaning more into the conflict of teenagers that want to fit in versus being mutant outcasts. Quote

ort Posted June 1, 2023 Posted June 1, 2023 What is this now, like the 12th time the Turtles have been rebooted/reimagined? Quote
ort Posted June 1, 2023 Posted June 1, 2023 Original Live Action Movies (3 Films) Mid 2010s Live Action Reboot (2 Films) 2 Separate Animated One-off Movies (2007, 2023) 4 Animated Television Shows 1 Live Action Television Show So only 9, but there are also several direct to video movies and other random goofball entries (Not counting comics or video games...) TwinIon Posted July 14, 2023 Posted July 14, 2023 I think I've aged out of the market for TMNT stuff and I haven't seen anything since the 90s live action films, but I think this one looks amazing. The animation is cool, the humor plays well for the age group. I'm not going to be rushing out to the theater myself, but I'm not sure what else you could want from TMNT. Quote
stepee Posted July 14, 2023 Posted July 14, 2023 Everything I’ve seen of this looks great and I’m hyped for it. I wish there was some footage of the upcoming game so I could get hyped up for that too. Quote
