  1. A better experience with friends for sure. Can you play them solo, yeah, but not nearly as fun.
  2. I’ve been debating on buying it. For whatever reason it seems like I have an itch to play a game like that
  3. Control Metro Exodus Undecided about how I feel about Metro Exodus. Its a fine game, satisfying end. I miss the dark tunnels of the metro. I hate the fact that the mutants have become nothing more than cannon fodder when you go explore the map and have no relevance to the story anymore. It lost its supernatural/sci-fi aspects almost entirely. Most of that is due to where Last Light was headed and where 2035 left off. So its hard to be too harsh on them for it, but for a good chunk of the game I just wanted to stop and go replay 2033 or Last Light. The ending chapter of the game is so reminiscent of the older metro games, it made it all the more satisfying to finish the game.
  4. This might make me reinstall. Apex is fun but sometimes it’s a lot to take in. So much going on at all times.
  5. Keychron or Anne Pro 2 for a wireless keyboard. Haven't personally used either, but I've seen some good things about them. Razer Mamba for a mouse (personally would spend the money on a Viper Ultimate, but to each their own).
  6. I haven't rewatched them since seeing them in theater, but I remember disliking them. A lot.
  7. Same, I ended up buying the complete edition because I wanted to come back to it, but its never at the top of my priority list.
  8. Control gets to be my first completion of 2020. The only game I've actually finished from Remedy. I'd give it a solid 7.5, maybe a light 8. Gameplay is solid, good atmosphere, some jaw dropping visuals, though I found that I really wasn't invested in the story all that much. I thought there would be more development into it and then I'm just at the end of the game. I suppose there is a lot of information that I could have read through the many, many pages you find along the way, but just like Destiny I have no interest to sit there and read forever.
  9. can you explain the appeal of this game to me? Every time I watch Shroud stream it I’m bored out of my mind
  10. Halo 5 Xbox, One S, One X PS4, PS4 Destiny LE, PS4 Pro, Pro KH LE Switch, Switch with better battery
  11. NES was my family’s first console, we had it while I was a newborn but I don’t ever remember playing it. We gave it to my grandparents after we bought the SNES. I usually count the SNES as my first console. The first console I bought with my own cash was the 360.
  12. So far XGP has only stopped me from buying Gears and majority of the game giveaways are games that I've already bought or never had any intention of buying in the first place.
  13. I had not heard that about the controller, thats a good inclusion.
  14. I miss the kinect. Get home, "xbox on", change my clothes, sit down and my xbox is already up and running. "Xbox launch" if I'm looking away, but hear a notification for an invite. "Xbox record" instead of having to do home button twice + X. Would have continued to use it had they not removed the port from the X1X. I'd like to see the capabilities come back built into the Xbox.
  15. I couldn't find anything either. Just general Xbox sales overall and reports that the One X out sold the PS4 Pro.
  16. I tend to have Bacon's approach, but merely because I binge watch. I didn't touch Mandalorian or Watchmen because I don't want to pay a monthly subscription for one show. I'll wait until the season is done, buy a monthly sub or free trial, and watch the show. In some cases I won't even touch the first few seasons, I didn't start watching Game of Thrones until Season 7 was starting and caught up by the time S8 was out. Weekly releases are fun. I love getting together with some friends watching the show and talking about it right after and talk with people at work about it. I don't know if I'd say I prefer it, sitting down all weekend to watch Stranger Things or Dark was great, but it would be a lot easier if I wasn't paying $5 here and another $7 there.
  17. Amazon lists the One X as roughly 48 x 38 x 12 cm (could be wrong, I also don't have my box near me currently to verify) Most estimates I've seen have the series X nearly the same height as the One X standing on its side. IGN uses the optical drive for the measurement at around 28 cm tall x 15 cm square. Even if you go buy some of the larger estimates 31cm x 16 cm square. Granted that is still bigger than I was anticipating, it'll be interesting to see the box they design for it.
  18. Might take a redesign of the shipping box they have been using for the One X/S, but I can't see it being much bigger in terms of overall size.
  19. $299 - no HDD, component cable $399 - 20GB HDD and component/composite cable, free arcade game.
