  1. I posted this in discord but may as well post it here. Gamestop is having a retro flash sale use code CAG16 for a total of 16% off This link shows everything with a reduced price, but you get some kind of a discount on non-discounted games with the code. Their mobile app wasn't great at telling me what discount I was getting for the games. Bubble Bobble wasn't reduced, though I saw the code was applied to it The pricing as far as I can tell is decent, most games I was interested in were about the same as eBay, slightly more, or slightly less with the discount. Not that eBay is really that great to begin with, but I only have 3 retro game stores near me and their pricing is usually not that great either. Bad part is that its a crap shoot for what you get, could be good, could be bad. I wouldn't expect more than just the game so if you are interested in boxes and manuals this probably isn't for you. Although some guy apparently got an almost brand new Bubble Bobble 2 at some point. I ordered 3 games because I'm not really all that concerned with condition on these games. Castlevania II: Simons Quest, Bubble Bobble, and Aladdin.
  2. In terms of things to do, like missions, story, end game content, etc. It really hasn't changed all that much. Still have raids to do, still have weekly nightfalls, iron banner pops up every once in awhile, weekly Trials of Osiris, still have a story to rush through. Gameplay has changed a little bit, like you have two "main" weapons (hand cannon, pulse/scout/auto rifle, sub machine gun, sidearm) and one Heavy (sniper, shotgun, fusion, rocket, grenade launcher). PvP is 4v4 instead of 6v6 (with the exception being Iron Banner). New supers. Though a lot of changes are happening in the next expansion. PvP is going back to 6v6, you'll be able to equip any weapon to any slot (you can run 3 snipers if you want).
  3. GDQ twice a year every year. SGDQ starts this Sunday. Been an avid watcher of speedruns for quite a while now. I honestly find them fascinating. Here is a link to the schedule. https://gamesdonequick.com/schedule Some personal favorites: Super Metroid - Oatngoats Halo 2 - Ranabundana (I actually have no idea who this runner is, but I like the run) Super Mario Bros - SuperSonic71087, RetroBob_, Kosmic, RoyLGamer (Kosmic is the only runner I know, but warpless is just as fun to watch as any%) Any 3D sonic game is worth watching as those games are usually completely broken.
  4. I'm fairly certain I ran with SNES before the dark times.
  5. I actually stopped playing this. Not sure if it was a lack of interest or just in a gaming slump. I should probably pick it back up in the near future to find out which.
  6. I hate to double post but I thought it would be weird to include this in my response to SimpleG. I bought Mike Shinoda’s new album “Post Traumatic”. I wasn’t really sure what to expect going into this album. The first single I hear was “Ghosts” which is very much a Linkin Park song, you could replace the chorus with Chester and it would fit right in with one of their albums. Other songs were more in line of what I thought it would lean towards. “About You” is a much more Fort Minor style song. Hard beats with Mike rapping over them. I like the switch up of songs throughout the album, but I like the softer songs with Mike singing a lot more than the rap songs. As you can guess, a lot of the album has to do with Chester’s suicide. 7/10 Favorite Song:
  7. I like Chvrches quite a bit. Heard Mother we Share on the radio a couple of years ago and was hooked. However their past two albums feel very similar which is a bit disappointing. Their music can get really annoying on repetiton and without having really different feeling songs I go months without listening to them. Then fall in back into them when I randomly play one of their songs. They are coming to Utah pretty soon with Pale Waves, another pop band, I’m looking forward to it.
  8. Farseer Trilogy I started the second book while I was in Japan, but haven’t had much time to read since I’ve been home though.
  9. As far as I know, no it’s not really active at all. You have beelzebub/HD Mod which adds a ton of content but ramps up the difficulty to 15/10. Then you have some minor graphics mods that make the game more playable on modern devices. The game doesn’t play very well with wider screens. It breaks how enemies work when you extend it out, you can snipe enemies without ever being attacked.
  10. A mix of Destiny 2, Super Mario Bro's, and Witcher 3.
  11. Can't say I'm too upset about this. I'm still waiting for a VR game that actually makes me want to get VR. Arktika.1 was going to be that game, but after its warmish reviews I decided now wasn't the time.
  12. I've always talked about getting one. My siblings and I pitched in and got our parents one for Christmas last year (I believe it was like $80 each for the whole year). My parents love it, they go see a movie every week on Wednesday or Saturday. They haven't had any problems with it as far as I know. I want one, but when I go see movies is so sporadic. One month I'll get see 2 movies a week, the next I won't go see a movie at all. I don't really know if its worth it at that point.
  13. I read a little bit about this on kotaku/reddit. They said it would make the game easier to mod? Which would be cool, bezelbub is a cool expansion/mod, but it ramps the difficulty up to 15/10. There is a couple other minor UI mods that make it more tolerable to play on modern PCs. Sadly D1 probably doesn’t have much interest from the community.
  14. The S was known as a relatively cheap blu ray player for awhile. I don’t think that holds true anymore. I still use my S as a blu ray player and it’s more hassle than it’s worth. Every other time I log in I have to update my Xbox, if I’m offline the system asks me a million questions about why I’m offline and if I’d like to connect. It’s never just put a movie in and watch. I suppose if I watched movies more regularly that wouldn’t be a problem. If you aren’t going to game on it then I definitely would go with just a regular player.
  15. I just bought a NES for the purpose of speedrunning Super Mario Bros so I've been playing that quite a bit lately. However I did find Goof Troop at a local game shop and I look forward to playing that pretty soon.
  16. My old gif that I was using was too large. It seems like the size has gone down a bit. My last gif was .8MB and you have to be under .5MB or something like that now.
  17. And here I was coming to say Cyan
