  1. I would like to watch this, but not paying for HBO. Will watch later down the road I guess.
  2. In addition to control, WWZ is a decent multiplayer game to play with friends.
  3. Relevant subreddit https://www.reddit.com/r/LaptopDeals/ Every deal has a price range before you even click the link so you know what you price range you are looking at.
  4. I never got my code for this game. Emailed support and still haven’t heard anything. So that’s cool I guess.
  5. Destiny 2 and Divinity 2 I started Divinity 2 on story mode because I've never really played a game of this caliber. Story mode is way to easy though. I steam rolled through everything, even without any kind of strategy. So I started over which kind of sucked, but whatever.
  6. The longer time has gone on the less I appreciate TT and RotK. Fellowship is by far the best of the 3 and is still one of my favorites.
  7. As someone who has attempted this, you need a lot of patience for this. I spent 30 minutes working it and didn’t even get it off.
  8. Feel like I’ve been waiting forever to play this. It’s getting decent scores, I still have hopes it’ll wind up pretty good.
  9. I think a question that hasn't been asked is what are you looking to play? While all of the games share similar aspects are there things you don't like or prefer? Like top down or third person view, graphics that age well vs remasters vs HD upres, motion controls (skyward sword) traditional (OoT, WW, MM, TP) simplified (ALttP). I hate to use simplified, but it was all if could come up with off the top of my head. Identifying a couple of these might lock down a better choice for you. BotW is very different from the rest of the series. I feel like I should mention that and I'm sure you are aware, but even in a game that has a roughly open world experience (wind waker) its still very linear in its design. Ocarina of Time would be my choice with Wind Waker in second. TP has probably aged the worst IMO, but is still a fine game. I'd recommend finding access to a 3DS though as its a pretty faithful remaster (video detailing remaster) and he sums up perfectly why I'd start with OoT.
  10. Titan is probably the most fun as well as the most useful. You really can't go wrong with any of them, but like Apathy said look up some videos showing the differences. Hunter is probably the most baseline experience, meh grenades, a decent super here or there. Dodging and their jumps are great for PvP Warlock have some good grenades, great PvE supers (along with 2 really good PvP supers), probably the worst jump of the 3. Titans.... well read below. Melting point is by far one of the most useful, if not the most useful, tool in a team for PvE. Not to mention rally barricades which is pretty much a Rift + Luna without having to sacrifice the exotic slot. Their grenades are also some of the best in the game. The only thing they really lack is a high damage super, they are all really roaming supers which also makes Titans good for PvP too as roaming supers are still ridonkulous.
  11. I initially ignored this as there was no way I was watching a 4 hour video about a crap story line. Its really good though. I've learned so much about Destiny's backstory that never gets explained in the game, at least not in a way that I want to approach it. Just pick at the video, 30 minutes here, 10 minutes there. Its well worth the watch
  12. My PVM & CRT is at my parents for storage until I move back to Utah. I also don’t have any solid way to connect modern consoles/GPUs to it. So probably won’t happen for awhile if at all
  13. Yeah I kind of skimmed the video so I had a feeling that they might have done a comparison with just a regular TV. I have my doubts that Control really looks that great on a regular CRT but to each their own.
  14. I might reinstall to play these. Might get me out of my gaming slump and sounds like fun
  15. FFX on switch. Bought while it was on sale from BB at like $35. Got to the Blitzball tournament and stopped. Just kind of in a gaming slump right now. Don't really feel like playing anything even though I just got Link's awakening.
  16. Updated title for release. Sept 30th If you have purchased the game through the website you can access your games and get a steam key.
  17. The camera might be sunken in the case just a slight bit. One of my friends had his, I didn't take a super close look though.
  18. They answered above me but the FW900, same as the video you posted. Thing retailed for like $2200 in 99/2000 from what I can gather from a quick google search.
  19. I didn’t watch the whole video, so they might have touched on this. Its a bit misleading to say Control looks good on a CRT. This isn’t some CRT a ton of people had back in the day or that they gamed on or a CRT that you’d find for local pickup for free. This is a professional grade monitor, not only that it’s an extremely rare one that supported widescreen and high resolutions. There is a reason these are so hard to find.
  20. Apparently there is a classic mode that you can enable that makes it more turn based.
  21. Celeste Started it because Chapter 9 just came out. I was still in the core and hadn't finished it yet. Unbeknownst to me I was in the last room of the chapter and for whatever reason it only took me a handful of tries to complete it. I had been stuck in there for days without gaining any progress. So I started on Chapter 9. I fared okay and I think I'm about 1/3 of the way through? Not sure exactly. I ended up just starting a new save file after awhile anyways. I was getting hammered on one of the rooms and decided to take a break. Oddly enough (or maybe not) The Completionist on YT ended up doing a video on it. Just a couple minutes into this video and it brought back a bunch of fond memories of playing this game and the great soundtrack it has. So I decided to start a new file and play all over again. Going back with all of the skills I gained from my first playthrough allows me to get into a lot of more strawberry area's which makes me pretty happy. I've also completed 3/4 B-sides I've unlocked so far and I do it immediately after completing that chapter.
  22. Reachability to me is the most half baked solution for one handed users. Let’s just cut the screen in half! May as well have the smaller screen at that point.
  23. Snapchat is another one. Android doesn't natively use the camera. It pulls a screenshot of what you are seeing on your screen. Most of the time my apps I use or rarer occasions I just push to the second screen, but I find that more of a bandaid fix to having an app drawer. So I see the appeal somewhat, its not a huge gripe. What is a huge gripe is that iOS still doesn't let you reorganize apps anywhere on the home screen. This really kills one hand usability on the larger phones, especially when you take the home button away. It's the only reason holding me back from getting the larger phone (and having a larger battery and higher resolutions). There are other minor gripes as well, like the notification screen being atrocious and how the phone handles notifications in general is pretty dated. Swipe isn't great on the native iOS keyboard (I've been using iOS13 beta).
