There's your cuts.

After tonight, they should disappear.

Seems like we have a pretty consensus top 5 of Biden Warren Sanders Harris Buttigieg, and then maybe Beto hanging out around 6th. Someone from the bottom 6 needs to break out with this debate because as of right now it's just a formality they haven't been eliminated. And even then we have a top 3 of Warren Sanders Biden. Anyone not of those 3 really needs to come out swinging and go for the throat because all of a sudden holy shit, January is right around the corner.

Good luck with that. The candidates this year seem to never go away. I think the only way to get them to drop out is to have the DNC make the qualification threshold for these later debates much more restrictive.

And they won't, because any restriction that ditches these dweebs would kick Beto and Mayo Pete.

Those dweebs are already done unless something changes quickly. Maybe Beto can drop an F bomb on live tv, edgy swearing seems to be his thing.

If you have to have yourself introduced as "businessman" then just get the fuck off the stage. It sounds every bit as credible as this jackass

Excuse me, but Vincent Adultman is very credible. Are you dating a successful Hollywood agent like he was?

Warren literally dropping before our eyes and ears.

Whoever the adviser is that told her to dodge the M4A tax question is an idiot. "Middle class taxes will go up, but you will never receive a medical bill again" - that's how you answer that question. In response to Pete - "how much is the premium, how much are the copays, will people still get medical bills?"

Andrew Yang asked her about UBI and automation.

She rambled about Social Security.

The threat of automation vis a vi AI is vastly overblown given how much of the economy and current jobs are service based. These people just need higher wages.

Yeah (which is why we should have wage subsides), but the manufacturing jobs they are referring to, the empty factories, those jobs are gone because of automation. Warren makes it seem like this is just about trade policy and corporate structure, but even if you threw tariffs up, the factories that would be built here would have robots.

If you raised their wages, they'd have robots. If their health insurance became too costly, they'd have robots. If it were marginally cheaper in a three year time frame than to hire any human, there'd be robots.

The only reason people talk to longingly about good manufacturing jobs is because of the threat and actual gains made in that industry by unions, whose rose to power in a time that is never returning. It's pure nostalgia
