  1. Does this prohibit a doctor from randomly having a bose headset and eyemask available next to the patient?
  2. IMO the WH blocking their people from House subpoenas is 100% obstruction. They are doing their job as described by the constitution. Plain and simple.
  3. Interestingly enough, large portions of the books do not involve Geralt after the initial short stories.
  4. Good luck with that. The candidates this year seem to never go away. I think the only way to get them to drop out is to have the DNC make the qualification threshold for these later debates much more restrictive.
  5. That never logically made sense to me"."Hence the reason I scored very poorly outside of math and science"."
  6. Depending on the state murder can also have different levels with differing requirements. Texas actually does not have a "second degree" of murder and it looks like it needs intent per the 5 minutes of googling I have done. Apparently the jury believed she intended to cause harm hence the murder conviction rather that manslaughter.
  7. It is obvious the republicans know that they are wrong when all they can attack is random crap in the background rather than the actual substance of the investigation.
  8. I did pick up the Acer. I am happy with it. It OCed to 120hz easily. No issues at all. The reason I decided to get the Acer is because reviews for the alienware seemed to show they had some issues with the overclock to 120. Glad it is working for you! I did have to make some changes because the default settings were a bit off. This could be why the Alienware looked better in the store. I wouldn't be surprised if it had better calibration out of the box. When Acer updated the panel they screwed up their calibration. I will say in AC: Origins the monitor defaults to 60hz max for some reason. I imagine it is because of the game since tons of other people have had similar complaints. EDIT: Ah, found out why Origins fucks up the monitor. It has its own display settings and assumed 60hz was the native refresh rate.
  9. I ended up heading over to microcenter and grabbing a 9900k, Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra, 32 gig of some G.Skill Trident Ram (3200 w/XMP) (they actually did a $70 price match), a new NVMe drive and an AIO because the 9900k is hot as hell. Especially when I decide to OC the sucker a bit down the road. I actually copied over my old drive to the new one for windows and now I can't tell which one I am booting to since they are both the exact same size Per the bios it is on the new drive but you would think windows would make it a bit more obvious. Side note. I did a benchmark in AC Origins prior to enabling XMP and after. Increasing the ram speed to 3200 actually gave me about a 5% performance boost. Tech people on youtube have also found this to be a realistic result as well. Sweet spot seems to be 3400 for Intel. Sadly finding that speed of ram at a reasonable price is difficult. I will suffer with slightly less performance as a result. Thanks everyone for your input!
  10. Soooo Ryzen 9 is $750 due to the scarcity. Crazy since at that point a 9900k almost makes sense. Thinking about picking 3900x up at retail if it can be found. This could take a while.
  11. I did notice that the Acer says it is 120hz Native rather than 120hz overclockable like on the Alienware. I think I shall go for the Acer. Thanks for your input! EDIT: I was wrong. Not 120 native. Microcenter was wrong. Still not a bad monitor. Looks better than the Alienware IMO.
  12. So I hvae been finding that I continue to run out of monitor space when working on my PC. My current monitor has served me well over the last 4 years. I do want to upgrade to something with more than 60hz refresh rates. I no longer play games with tons of action (FPS, MOBA, etc) due to some Ulnar Nerve issues so I don't need more than 120hz to be honest. Gsync can be nice when cranking visuals in games. I am thinking about pairing the new monitor with a 2070S or 2080S. I have an old processor but that doesn't matter as much at higher resolutions . I may just upgrade my CPU/Mobo as well in a month or two anyway. Ryzen 3 may be calling. We shall see. Below are the two monitors I am looking at. They are both 120hz IPS panels. Suggestions are welcome. 13. I keep playing Factorio and I don't know why. 627 hours in the game and counting.
  14. I wont argue with that. I am just pointing out that the Oregon GOP lied on top of the stupidity. The picture they used was taken something like a week earlier.
