The Democrats actually own the popular plans and ideas (and their failure to capitalize on that is a whole nother story). The media ALWAYS wants Democrats to move right but never ever suggests that Republicans move left. Basically, fuck Tapper, CNN, and every cable news pundit. I'd say Sanders and Warren ran circles around him, BUT when Biden is running as the "center-left" guy, and he's got the most name recognition, and you're running on that kind of platform as well as a billion other Democrats in the running (Bullock, Hickenlooper, Ryan, Biden, Bennet, I assume Sestak), it's probably better to stick out and make a name for yourself (he received more time than Beto) than to be in the background. At this point, he has nothing to lose; worst case scenario is he polls as badly as he has been and doesn't see an uptick in voters. Look at Seth Moulton.
