I'm assuming it means "look how much signposting there is for breaking barrels" and I think that's because this game doesn't highlight them like a Tom and Jerry cartoon. The piss yellow "break here" indicators could be more subtle like they were in the OG. It looks ugly and sticks out. Never been a fan of the cum/birdshit ledges in games either. Shouldn't have remade it if you can't atleast justify the game's existance. I was more asking if you wanted the Dead Space remake though. It’s not that I can’t afford it, I just can’t justify buying Prime Remastered, Dead Space, and RE4 in like a two week period. I need to actually beat some more games before I start adding more to the pile. I think I’m going to try and beat at least Nier Replicant and Stray before I dip into something else. I was also not prepared for the one death animation. Well, aside from film grain and camera motion blur. If your game has no reason to add film grain and you add it anyway you're a fucking psychopath. First thing I do in every game: change resolution, turn on borderless windowed, turn motion blur the fuck off because why is that a thing? Also turn screen shake off if the game has that. Usually used to fix/enhance ultrawide stuff, take framerate locks off of cutscenes, and adding freecam among various other things, I've been using it to explore! Found Hunnigan's office far below an unloaded Village map. And to take some screenshots I thought turned out alright! Also found a few areas outside of the demo area that are fully modeled with objects (chests, other items, etc) but I won't post those since they seem slightly spoilery, while Hunnigan's office is shown in the demo and is incomplete from many angles, so I think it's pretty much just a cutscene thing we normally wouldn't see too well. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not that I can tell, that part seems like a little sectioned off scripted event, first thing I tried on my second playthrough was to shoot the guy dropping the torch, but he's immune to gunfire (those around him are not) until he puts his hands up in reverence. Getting a cool little preview of an extra couple of rooms. Funny thing is, there's a few documents (including something called Spoiler "blue requests," which kind of sounds like side quests?)
