I just let my PS Now sub end to save some money and Shadow was one of the few games in the lineup that I didn't get around to playing that I wanted to. vaxick Posted December 30, 2020 Share Posted December 30, 2020 I was tempted to buy Greedfall a few weeks back when I found it for $15, but decided to hold off hearing it's getting a PS5 release. Free will certainly do and help me decide if I want the PS5 edition when it releases for its extra content. Seeing Maneater on the list is great as well. It should have been a 40$ game. My son bought it on sale since we got him a ps5 for Christmas, and he still paid too much. We both tried it, and it's just boring. The game apparently sold a million copies and as a result of doing so well, it's receiving new DLC next year along with ports to the PS5/X. I'm sure Focus Home Interactive is using this as a way to try to attract more gamers to the franchise to drum up more sales of the DLC. Well they are basically the same game; if you enjoyed the Reboot then every aspect (overworld, upgrades/skill tree, story) of Rise is a small refinement of that. I believe Rise has more content overall, but I didn't put as much time into the side quests as I did the reboot. Not that they were less interesting, but I had less real life time and I wanted to finish the story which was at least as compelling as the Reboot. While the Reboot slowly introduces you to the new Tomb Raider, Rise puts you in the action quicker and keeps you there. And either I can't remember any right now or they did away with the Laura-torture QTE segments, which tightens up the gameplay a lot IMO.
