  1. What’s the old saying? “Strike while the iron is hot.” Well, the Twisted Metal brand is more relevant now than ever, so this just makes sense!
  2. It’s every two seasons on The Crown, there’s a big enough time jump that people are recast.
  3. How could you post Around the World audio only and not one of the all time great music videos?
  4. I saw this before Vic posted, but I couldn’t find my Vita to see what condition it’s in. I dug it up, and it might need a new battery, because it doesn’t turn on after charging for a while.
  5. Never. It’s just me, and I don’t cook a lot, so I just hand wash the same few dishes all the time.
  6. Yeah, I was only on IGN for about 4 years. Those were big years (roughly age 16-20) so it feels like a more significant chunk of time than it actually was. Huh.
  7. I think Total Recall is more loved than Running Man. Even in the context of Arnold’s 80s run, I never hear anyone say “You know what I really like? The Running Man.” With any remake, there will always be comparisons, and people will ask “did they need to do this again?” I think since the book and movie are pretty different, an adaptation that is closer to the book would be well received. And Edgar Wright seems like a savvy enough filmmaker that he wouldn’t sign on this project without accounting for all of this.
  8. Add me to the list of people who vastly prefer using a controller for Diablo. But even then, I get kinda burned out on that style of game pretty easily. I got to Act 4 in D3 once and had enough. And I hate how much I’m excited for the new Hearthstone changes. I can’t believe I’ve been playing that stupid game for almost 7 years now.
  9. A demo this early is strange. It’s cool that they announced it and had something playable right away, but they don’t even have a title. I can’t run out to my local Gamestonk and place a preorder, can I?
  10. I do it, then usually have to explain it, then apologize.
  11. Since they won’t let him be Bond, maybe Idris Elba could be the Doctor.
  12. I missed whenever it was added, but last night I tried Carto on a whim. It's a really charming little puzzle/adventure game with a neat hook. Basically, you're collecting squares of a map, and when you move/rotate those squares on a grid, you change the layout of the world around you.
  13. You can point to the petition to get the line in Joker. That’s the cleanest, most obvious reference point. This is kinda like how the internet got that one line into Snakes on a Plane.
  14. Freaky - delivers pretty well on the premise of teen-slasher-meets-body-swap-comedy. If that sounds at all appealing, it's an easy recommendation.

    Taxes

I have a hard time doing things without a deadline, so I usually end up scrambling some time shortly before the 15th. Luckily my taxes are pretty simple, as a single dude with one job. I could easily just do them tomorrow, but where's the fun in that?
  16. Of course he's joking. This game is basically pointless without the beautiful stereoscopic 3D of the 3DS. Now that would be real gaming!
  17. I get that concern, but we still don't know anything about the plot or how they plan to approach it. My pitch for the show would take cues from what they did in TLOU2. Still feature Joel and Ellie as your "leads", but spend equal or greater time with the other people impacted by their journey. Imagine a whole episode about a group in Pittsburg, doing whatever they can to survive, then in the last 5 minutes Joel and Ellie roll through and beat them to death with spiked baseball bats. If you don't include Joel/Ellie at all and create a whole new cast of characters, what makes it The Last of Us and not another Walking Dead spinoff? These zombies have mushrooms growing out of their heads? Technically? I think so?
