Honestly I have no idea. But I think the point is, previous generations had access to wealth that the current generation doesn't. College was cheaper, homes were cheaper, jobs paid more. The current generation has been cut out from that.

And that's a fine point, but lying in order to make it is bad.

I'd also like to say that everyone who was panicking about a Bloomberg candidacy should probably vote for or at least donate to Warren. She's the one who took a wrecking ball to his campaign, not anyone else. Frankly, the other candidates followed her lead and that's why she'd make the best president.

Sanders was the first one who went after Bloomberg tonight and has been doing so for a while.

Saying "calling me a communist is unfair" is not going to hurt Bloomberg's campaign. Come on.

In fact Bernie gave Bloomberg his best moments of the night!

This is a perfect example of how the Bernie world rushes to claim being the first as a substitute for being the best. Warren is who fragged Bloomberg, Sanders spitting on the ground when his name is spoken is not the same thing.

Sanders was the first to go after Bloomberg in the debate and has been doing so for a while. He's consistently the one who has helped change the conversation to why we talk about billionaires so much and why the media obsesses over them like they do.

Bernie has 1 foot in the grave....if he somehow got to be President....him dying in office would not be an unexpected thing so VP in his case is as good as President....and sabermetrically I'd go with Sanders/Klobuchar to make that play to swing voters in the midwest states Trump won or moderate Democrats in general...but my heart wants Sanders/Warren.

Of course I understand the VP nominee will likely come form none of these...but it will play a major factor this time around I feel.

Trying to give Bernie credit for Warren's disembowelment of Bloomberg because he's said the word billionaire a few times is some real high level shit.

You're letting your hatred for Sanders get in the way of a common sense analysis of the campaign considering how silly and narrow this observation is. :p

Warren's employed different strategies during the campaign and tried to appear more moderate before going back to progressive firebrand last night. That's one reason Warren is having a hard time actually getting the progressive vote thus far. Sanders is attractive to progressives because he's consistently good, whereas Warren has great and mediocre debates, and he's able to change the conversation. When he's asked about billionaires, he effectively changes the conversation as to why the media obsesses over them and why they're getting any air time for stating an opinion. When talking about Democratic socialism, he effectively describes socialism for the rich, a populist argument that is attract to a wide swath of the country.

Going after Bloomberg being sexist doesn't change the conversation. Warren talking in 2011/2012 about how taxpayers funding roads and education for employers being hugely responsible for the success of rich people is changing the conversation, though the only person who employed that argument last night as Sanders.

My opinion of Sanders has nothing to do with the fact that I said, correctly, that Elizabeth Warren is responsible for (probably) sinking Bloomberg's campaign and then you came in and tried to give Bernie credit for it. He did not do that last night and you can blabber about your opinion of the two candidates all you want but that doesn't change what actually happened which is that Warren ate $350 million dollars last night, not Bernie.

You said they followed her lead; he clearly hasn't. :p

Let's wait until the campaign is over before we credit someone for killing someone else lest we have a Harris/Biden repeat.
