George Santos has been charged with conspiracy, wire fraud, false statements, falsification of records, and other charges. Quote Prosecutors filed a 23-count superseding indictment against the New York Republican in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He was trying to scam the RNC for money, which likely would have worked without getting caught if he'd lost.
