so if i bought 12month ps now from cdkeys for $48 and i have ps+ currently what would everything convert to? would the ps now auto replace ps+ normal? my ps+ is due to expire in august i wouldnt want to get double charged if i didnt have too.

It’s out of stock at cdkeys. If you can find it in stock somewhere, ps now subs will convert to the highest tier of Sony’s new thing.

what if I buy 12 months of ps now from Craig behind the 7-11 on mission st for $34, does that still work?

Won’t work. I remember someone on resetera finding some PS Now cards in stores and when the person went to redeem them, the code was invalid. Not sure what ultimately happened.

PlayStation Now, what happens to my subscriptions and payment date?

If you are subscribed to both services when the new PlayStation Plus launches, you will be migrated into the PlayStation Plus Premium membership plan and you will have a new single payment date based on the longer of your two subscriptions. You will be notified via email of your new payment date and subscription fee.

So....can someone someone enable my laziness and tell me the following:

I currently have PS Plus, do I have to actively sign up to this new thing or will it kind of roll over into a new equivalent? Will I keep all my PS+ games I have installed?

I think we need @Chris- MBA to figure it out.

that’s sooooooo dumb

I agree. Only a small segment would have taken advantage of this deal similar to Microsoft Game Pass. The handling of all of this has been poor. Sony has been bad with their communication since Ryan took over for whatever reason

I think they might want to rethink his position honestly, the messaging has been off for sure.

You'll get an email which will state what your account is converting to (automatically). The main thing is if you have PSNow service or not. If you have PSNow you'll be converted to PlayStation Plus Premium (top tier) for the length of which of your services is longer (PS+ or PSNow). If you don't have PSNow then your PS+ service will convert to PlayStation Plus Essential which is exactly the same as it was. You'll also still keep all your previous PS+ games.

While it will suck for those who were trying to game the system in the end, and seriously really late I might add, it's not shocking that sony would lock down on it when people are blasting all over twitter how they stacked up 10+ years of premium service through a loophole. These people aren't losing any money and will still get what they bought in the end.
