We all listened to his speech in the office and it was basically "I'm Italian, it's a political hit-job, gimme a break ayyy...ohhh...." nonsense. Not that anything could could've come of that speech anyway BUT in case anyone wanted a tl;dr.

It's a real pity. I know many here were always lukewarm at best to Cuomo, but I remember (I think it was actually you) talking about how Cuomo's press conferences were actually comforting at the beginning of the pandemic, that it was nice to see some leaders out there with plans and authority over COVID since Trump seemed lost and uninterested. I really wanted this to be an example of him meeting the moment, but it wasn't.

Absolutely agreed and that was me, yup. But I mean he's a politician, I expect anything from that breed.

Thought Biden's answer was fine. He even asks the first reporter, when the reporter wants his assessment on Cuomo's 10 1/2 years as governor, whether he's talking his personal life or as a public servant.

ya I mean it’s a question he’s kinda screwed no matter how he answers it and considering that, it actually looks like he handled it surprisingly well trying to clarify the context of stating that there were some good policies (to biden) that he had and not that overall he did a good job.

“Gov. Cuomo and his staff have repeatedly pushed the agency to make decisions that jeopardize employee health and squander the trust and money of our bondholders, customers, and the general public,” said a letter sent to Port Authority executive director Rick Cotton by dozens of staffers Tuesday afternoon.
