Joe Biden beats Donald Trump, officially making Trump a one-term twice impeached, twice popular-vote losing president

I guess I'm more curious than anything else, but I don't understand why Buttigieg can't gain traction with black voters.  His policy positions are palatable (I would assume) towards black people.  His name recognition isn't as good as Biden or Sanders though.  I doubt being gay helps him much in one the more socially conservative corners of the Democratic party either.

I haven't seen any data that shows he was unpopular with black voters when he ran for mayor twice.  I'm assuming most black people who voted in those races voted for Pete over his Republican opponent.

He hilariously side stepped racial diversity in his speech about the broadness of the coalition they are building

The guy from CNN?

Nah Yang brah—not a career politician, so all the outsider progressive appeal of Bernie, plus some actual nuance to his policy proposals, less baggage (no ‘socialist’ label) and the same ability to energize the youth vote.

But you all wouldn’t listen, and now he won’t get a single delegate!  It’s rigged I tell you, rigged!  The establishment has you in its thrall! (Yes, Bernie Bros, you *do* occasionally sound like this)

And exactly 0 Republicans will vote for a public option, regardless of the 42% of those Republicans polled who support it. We're gonna have to do this alone. 77% of Democrats and 66% of independents support M4A. Let's get the rest of them on board and actually force our representatives to get it done.
