More importantly, the first confirmed case was an anti-masker who made a show of refusing to wear his mask around the office. Would you still feel the heat from hot sauce or the mint sensation of toothpaste with the taste of it being suppressed? Or is it really extremely obvious if you get hit with the smell/taste loss? Woke up feeling weird today. Feel like things taste a little muted and possibly ever so slightly off but I do taste things; but I could just be psyching myself out. Waiting on my COVID test result (went first thing this morning) but a little antsy in the meantime. I got dragged into the office for an unnecessary meeting on Tuesday so it's not helping that if I did catch it on Tuesday, I'm on exactly the right timeline for symptoms to start appearing. Friend of mine who got it still hasn't gotten it all back a month later. He said he could always feel heat though, he had a buffalo chicken bowl and all he tasted was the heat.
