MarSolo
They literally just did an episode about this on Veep. Jonah gets chickenpox and he spreads it to pretty much everyone not vaccinated.

CastlevaniaNut18
Highly communicable disease, makes kids miserable, deadly to some, and causes an even more painful condition when you're an adult. But, hey, we have a vaccine so people don't have to endure it anymore! What's the big deal?

But that was back when I was maybe 4 or 5 years old, and the vaccine wasn't around until 1995. ...Shit, I'm going to get shingles, aren't I? I don't remember off the top of my head if they're effective if you had chickenpox, or if they're more like a booster for the chickenpox vaccine. CastlevaniaNut18
I remember having chicken pox, along with every other kid in my kindergarten class back in 92/93. Not fun times. some kids literally got scarred for life.
silentbob
I had them bad when I was 2 from what my mom recalls. Whole back she said was red and might be the reason why I’m a side sleeper today. Must of been bad on my arms too because I can see tons of white scar spots when I rub them. I guess I should get the shingles vaccine
