I would like to congratulate America on it's newest welfare state.

Jesus christ man, you know what carries painful memories? Watching your loved ones and countrymen and women being murdered, raped and imprisoned. Not a thing you have said has made sense.

I was born is south america in the 80's. I've been subject to the effects of unwanted  internal attention directly and in proximity. Much of my family remains there. Both of my  families has developed an immigrative pattern.over time. I can't unsee my family.

Again, you say nothing while pretending you're profound.

You're not the only immigrant on this board and you don't see the rest of us making threads that sound like a lobotomized Jello Biafra.

I forgot all about the story of him raking Feinsteins leaves in her yard after she did a street sweeping publicity thing in the city.

Also, "There's always room for Jello" is the greatest campaign slogan. It definitely beats, "I'm with her!".

You're not celebrating difference, you're whining about America, and this forum, supporting a sovereign nation's right to fight their invaders.

This sovereign nation, as opposed to the countless others you violated.

Again, I have no problem with a sovereign nation fighting back, regardless of who is invading it. And I think we should arm Ukraine with enough weapons to kill every invader to the last man.

I haven't really read through this thread that closely nor am I anything even resembling an expert in the Ukrainian war...

But, I have heard reasonable arguments made by smart people that the United States meddling in Ukrainian affairs is what lead to Russia invading and that giving them arms is only prolonging this conflict and making it worse. Are these things fact? I dunno. I don't know what to believe any more. I doubt anyone really knows, but I've heard these theories and they sound at least somewhat plausible to me.

This isn't making any apologies to Russia in any way. What they are doing is 100% wrong. I'm saying that years of the US meddling in Ukrainian politics angered Russia and that we knew it would when we did it. But it was more important for us to put in a pro-western government because the territory is politically useful to the US, and a lot of this fallout is due to that.

All that said... I could be completely wrong, I'm busy enough dealing with everything else going on in the world/my life to devote a lot of my attention to these things. These are just things I've read in passing.

The GOP has made open war not just in politics, or 'culture', but everyday living. It was shown a preference to wide ceding of it's supposed target base , for what amounts to a torrent that grows beyond their normative measures every day. This is what's happening in america. Found out what else.

I'm not going to bother reading through this fever dream of a thread but I just want to point out that we are aiding Ukraine just as much for our interests as much as theirs.

In a sense we are indirectly fighting China and their ambitions specifically related to Taiwan and the China Seas by demonstrating the price they would pay. It would embolden China if the West appeases Putin yet again. Furthermore the current stability of the world is built on the superpowers not gobbling up small countries in an imperial conquest. If Russia is given Ukraine on a platter they will not stop there. Moldova will be next. Its good to sell it to the public as charity but it very much is strategic.
