No protestors showing up to battle riot police. No overturned/burning cars. No statues decapitated. No churches burned. Defacing statues seems to be something the Canadian public seems OK with given what happened last year. At least what they did to Terry Fox's one was just a costume. I'm surprised the truck convoy folks from Western Canada decided to cover themselves with the fleur-de-lis. No one looks good coming out of this. The drunk protestors doing dumb things. Nor the media holding them to a different standard from the protests that have happened over the last few years. Of course, that's almost always yelled at the media who are interviewing them. And then when the media invites people (more mainstream supporters of the rallies) to come on...they refuse. If an Indigenous or brown/black person does something illegal, the police response with 10x the force necessary.
