Elon Musk is angry with the lack of progress SpaceX has made in developing the Raptor engines that power its Starship rocket.

He described a dire situation the day after Thanksgiving in a companywide email, a copy of which was obtained by CNBC.

“The Raptor production crisis is much worse than it seemed a few weeks ago,” Musk wrote.

“We face genuine risk of bankruptcy if we cannot achieve a Starship flight rate of at least once every two weeks next year,” Musk added later.

I mean, I think he's a mega-cunt but even besides that point...has there ever been a human face more engineered as a fist receptacle? There's so much fucking flabby cheek space and such a tiny nose within that whole mess to actually jack up your hand on. As someone who boxes a lot, I reckon punching that face would be an orgasmic experience.

I fucking love when executives spin “working all the time” as evidence that they “do more” or “care harder” than normals.

1) Eat shit

2) I’m not done pooping, here’s some more

3) If you’re a c-suite executive and you have to work every weekend, you’re guaranteed to be a micromanaging chode who doesn’t hire managers competent enough to run things effectively

4) Also you’re not setting a good example for your workforce, working 7 days a week isn’t healthy for the vast majority of people. If you’re the kind of person who needs to work constantly, that’s fine, but appreciate that this is not normal behavior

5) Seriously, hire better executives and managers

It is so fucking easy to not grind your employees into the dirt even if they do have to work hard, the fact that so many motherfuckers think “working too much” is some kind of badge of courage as opposed to just telling on themselves for not trusting their staff… it sucks

Also did I forget to say that Musk can feast on my poop? He can.

Your list is true - but at the same time a bunch of people are more than willing to work at SpaceX because they believe what the company is doing is cool and cutting edge.  If that means you work a lot under stressful conditions, than that's the tradeoff these employees are willing to make.  Looking at Glassdoor ratings, SpaceX fares pretty well compared to some of their Aerospace counterparts, who don't work their employees as hard.

Fuck.

That.

Shit.

Space X has 10,000 employees., give or take. Musk just made $5B cash selling stock. Give everyone $250,000 right now! That’s half of the cash he just fell into and around what, 1% of his net worth? Also he’ll make it back up immediately in stock value with the good press.

This shit isn’t hard, this motherfucker sits on more money than Smaug, is one of the wealthiest people since the Pharaohs, and leaving earth is apparently his grandest ambition. If his dream isn’t worth paying his team money that he literally will not miss and will make back almost immediately, then it’s not actually worth that much to him, is it?

This dude sucks so fucking hard, it’s unbelievable.

If I was worth billions of dollars the only thing that could possibly keep me up at night is the notion that anyone in my employ could want for anything or wasn’t living well.

”Well, people don’t mind hitching their wagon to his star, they want to do cool shit.”

Great, good on him for owning a company that people want to work for. Hire enough people to meet goals, you can afford it. Hire smart enough people to set goals effectively, you can afford it. Hire enough people and the right ones to make sure your employees are taken care of, you can afford it. His net worth is double Goldman Sachs’ market cap, for fuck’s sake, there are no excuses.

people only want to work there because we'd rather outsource routine space shipping/travel to private companies than NASA.

mind you there's untold thousands of people who got extremely wealthy in the US because of government contracting and none of them are the workers doing the brunt of the work.

I hate this man as much as any sane person, but… I just cannot bring myself to punch what is clearly the holy grail of phrenologists across the world. I imagine Quillette contributors cum just looking at that melon.

May I please present to you Sebastian Gorka for consideration?

Like, Hanity is the SECOND most punchable face in that shot, that’s saying something. Gaetz is still the most impressive though, he is like the punchable face all of the other punchable faces hang around so they look less punchable.
