Winnie the Pooh is gonna make you pay even more for a graphics card.

To add context, this is a big deal, but it isn't the BIGGEST deal:

Blue is the water and airspace owned and controlled by Taiwan. Everything else inside the blue polygons is international waters that China is allowed to fly through. It's just managed by Taiwan.

The funny part is that Chinese aircraft are literally overflying the territorial airspace of the Philippines (in the bottom of the figure).

I'm pretty much at the point where I'm gonna swallow my pride and just get a pre-built.

When that happens, you're more than welcome to my GTX 1080 as a stopgap.

One thing that would sadden me about getting a prebuilt is that my computer is a ship of Theseus going on like 12 years now. I still have a DVD burner installed that I put into my very first build back in 2009 with Windows 7 RC1. I think that's the only part left at this point that goes back to that first build but it still feels like it'd be not the same to just stick the drive into a prebuilt just so I can say I'm keeping the ship of Theseus going.

Isn’t the point of the ship of Theseus that eventually everything is replaced :p

Other than buying way too many games from Steam sales/Humble Bundles, I never really appreciated most of the benefits of PC gaming, so at this point I’m just going to give up trying to stay current with hardware and stick to consoles for new games.

Seems like a Steam Deck would be perfect for you to play all those indies lol.
