The first purchase I bought the standard edition on sale for $20. A few weeks later they announced the Ultimate Edition so I waited. I just bought that on sale for $20 barely a month ago. Drifting definitely helps keep you alive. Jamming the handbrake and coming to a full stop and turn will get you smashed big time. The game is pretty, shiny, and "the numbers keep going up" at the end of each round. But I can't say I'm super hooked or anything. Text can be hard to read when you are picking a character/vehicle.
