I loved Wild Wild West when I was 8 years old, so it’s all good, Will.

I can’t say that I’ve watched Jeopardy with any regularity in over a decade, so it doesn’t really matter to me, but I like idea of someone like Burton taking over.

Wanna know how stupid I am? I felt like replaying Skyrim, and instead of playing on PC where I own the base game, or on Xbox where the Legendary Edition is on Game Pass, I was looking at the Switch store and saw it was on sale and thought “well of course I need Skyrim on the go!” How often do I travel with my Switch? Fuckin’ never.

It’s also worth considering that the people doing these remakes/remasters probably aren’t the people who would otherwise be making GTA6 or whatever. From what I can tell, Rockstar Dundee (formerly Ruffian Games) is a small studio that hasn’t really done much since Crackdown 2. Maybe after a decade of failed/cancelled projects and support jobs for other studios, they’re excited to work on something that will actually come out and make a bunch of money.

Why not? If they put out L.A. Noire on Switch…

I understand that this is superhero comics, but I’m generally bored of the costumed people flying around blasting aliens to prevent the end of the world. Still, this is a wild ensemble cast, so I’m in.

I’m in the desert area after the second dungeon. This game feels a lot more focused and linear compared to most Zelda games, which I’m enjoying.

I just landed in the volcano area. Enjoying it so far. By the time I got to the end of that first dungeon, I had more or less “solved” the controls. By that I mean I don’t really have to think about them. For the camera, when I’m running around I usually just tap ZL to snap it behind Link. I only feel the need to hold L and use the right stick when I’m in a new area and need to look around to get my bearings.

I'm playing Skyward Sword on Switch in between games in the Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Final Fantasy remakes. One of my favorite things from last year was the Tony Hawk 1+2 remake, and if they give 3 a similar treatment I'll buy it immediately. I'm not personally interested in these particular games being remade, but I can't be mad at it.
